Our Story
Maxine and Anna met whilst working for a top-tier City firm serving the needs of the insurance industry in personal injury claims. They shared many of the same values and work ethics which created a life-long friendship. After several years of working for separate top-tier law firms, they decided that the London Market was no longer working for them and set up Gorvett & Bailey to better serve their clients. Their mission is to ensure all personal injury claims are dealt with justly, expediently and efficiently by providing practical solutions in a cost effective manner. Always resolving litigation with integrity.
Maxine Gorvett – Partner
Maxine has over 20 years experience in a wide range of Personal Injury matters including:

- Care Home negligence claims.

Maxine is an associate mediator for civil claims and is looking to expand this area of the business.

Anna Bailey – Partner
Anna specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence work, undertaking a variety of fast and multi-track cases. Her clients include self-insured companies, large composite insurers, claims handling companies, Lloyd’s syndicates and loss adjusters.
Anna covers the full scope of PI claims and is currently involved in a number of high and low value injury claims dealing with complex issues of liability and quantum.
Anna particularly enjoys dealing with matters involving:
- Accidents within the workplace;
- Slipping/tripping accidents;
- Occupier liability accidents;
- Public liability claims;
- Accidents where a subsequent Chronic Pain diagnosis has arisen with a particular interest in Fibromyalgia, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Somatic Symptom Disorder;
- Care Home negligence claims.
Anna also undertakes housing disrepair claims for private clients.
